A widely disseminated story by Baxter Dmitry in YourNewsWire.com on Sacramento firefighters, 5G and neurological damage is not wholly factually based, to the best of my knowledge. The study Dr. Gunnar Heuser and I organized and conducted in 2004 of California firefighters did find neurological damage, but our study was done following 5 years of exposure to 2G cell towers adjacent to the fire station.
Even though 5G is being tested in certain parts of Sacramento, I am personally unaware of any fire stations with 5G towers. SB 649, the 5G infrastructure bill Gov. Brown vetoed on Oct 15, 2017, had an exemption from 5G towers for fire stations for health reasons. The word health was never used in the bill, but the local firefighters’ unions in CA went for this exemption based on their health concerns. There has not been enough time for 5G exposure to test firefighters or anyone exposed.
The article’s source is not reputable. YourNewsWire.com is a Los Angeles-based “clickbait fake news” website known for promoting conspiracy theories. It does not help to have this story circulated with misinformation from this source. Baxter Dmitry writes for the outlet mixing legitimate news with conspiracy theories.
