Remember back when Sir William Stewart (IEGMP) said that the telcos should not target children for cell phones? That was a recommendation lost on industry as the following message from Joamme Mueller illustrates. Perhaps from the industry’s blinkered long-tern view, getting the kiddies addicted to microwaves soon after birth isn’t such a bad thing after all – it ensures a loyal customer base in the future – microwaved junkies hopelessly hooked on the technology. And what about the possibility that Autism is connected to microwave exposure as Joanne mentions below? If true, this is Good News for the pharmaceducal industry ever willing to create new drug treatments for the modern ills of society. So depending on your viewpoint this is either a horrendous situation or a tremendous market opportunity. I knew there were infant monitors out there and have been warning parents not to have them close to cribs. I had no idea that ANY of the monitors would be DECT units, wireless or that there would be a product such as the “powerful sensor pads under baby’s mattress!!!”
“Autism” being diagnosed every 20 minutes?” “Autism” on the increase!!! “ADD,” “ADHD???” These products are outrageous!!! Obviously “just moving items” across bedrooms will not be nearly enough protection. Take care everyone……. Joanne
