During June 2006, TCO tested 12 mobile phone models sold on the Swedish market to examine whether they met the radiation (emissions) and ergonomic requirements defined in our TCO’01 Mobile Phones labelling system. Ten of the models tested are GSM phones, while two models “” the Nokia E60 and Nokia E61 “” are designed both for GSM and 3G networks.

*Five of the phones met all radiation requirements and all ergonomics requirements.

*Six of the phones met all ergonomics requirements but not all radiation requirements.

*One phone failed to meet either all radiation or all ergonomics requirements.
