Welcome and Work of the EMF Discussion Group…

Three main topics had been identified for discussion at the meeting. These were:

1 A recent RPD report on Electrical Sensitivity
2 Exposures to Magnetic Fields from Power Frequencies
3 A report from the independent Advisory Group on Non-ionising
Radiation (AGNIR) on Power Frequency Electromagnetic Fields, Melatonin
and the Risk of Breast Cancer

Each item was introduced by a member of HPA-RPD staff who summarised
key points in the published reports. They were then opened for
discussion by member of the EMFDG…
